Green Lecture: "Biomimicry"
(Co-sponsored by the Biology Department)
Presented by William Toone
Biomimicry is a new way of learning from nature. Throughout history we've copied nature to help us to overcome everyday problems. In the end we must be able to live where we manufacture and with what we manufacture. Water-based solutions will allow us to live better lives with greater economy. Biomimicry brings new relevance to the old saying - "let's not re-invent the wheel".
